You can start training with the club at any time, just come along to a training session and give it a go.
But if you would prefer to start with a small group of beginners (no experience necessary, all levels of fitness catered for), the club offers a number of beginner’s courses each year, timed to coincide with the academic calendar. Each beginner’s course consists of 4 lessons (over four weeks), after which you’ll be more than ready to participate in any regular training session.
In 2024 these courses will run as follows:
-
Introduction to Kung Fu — Wednesdays, March 6 to March 27 (inclusive)
-
Introduction to Kung Fu — Wednesdays, May 1 to May 22 (inclusive)
-
Introduction to Kung Fu — Wednesdays, August 7 to August 28 (inclusive)
-
Introduction to Kung Fu — Wednesdays, October 2 to October 23 (inclusive)
You can register for these beginner’s courses via the ANU Sport website here: https://sportandwellbeing.anu-sport.com.au/Products/527
